Resumé

I studied Tropical Forestry at the Agricultural University of Wageningen with specialization in GIS and Remote Sensing. Upon graduation in 1997 I worked on Participatory Soil Fertility Management in Africa at the Royal Institute for the Tropics of the Netherlands until I joined FAO in 1999. At FAO I am responsible for the technical management and operation of the ARTEMIS system and for the conceptualization and technical development of the FAO GeoNetwork.
